Warrant of Fitness

We offer Warrants of fitness and these are undertaken using the latest brake testing equipment. A WOF takes between 45 minutes and one hour.

Please call or email to make a booking and these may be done at a set time while you wait in our air conditioned lounge.

Transmission and Differential

There are many different types of transmission and differential (Diff). Common types in the Audi, VW, Skoda & Seat range are:

• Automatic transmission – serviced typically every 90,000km
• DSG or DCT transmissions are divided in two main groups. The 6 or 7 speed wet clutch type are serviced every 60,000km. The 7 speed dry clutch type transmissions have no service interval.
• CVT transmissions are typically serviced every 60,000km.

Most 4WD diffs have periodic oil changes. A common diff type in the VAG group vehicles is called Haldex. There are 5 generations of Haldex diff . The first four generations require a filter change as well as fluid to be changed. All transmission and diff filter kits and fluids for VAG vehicles are carried in stock at Vodis.

Parts and Fluids

We have 4 plus deliveries per day of genuine VW, Audi & Skoda parts. We also use a significant volume of German made “aftermarket” parts which are often from the same companies that make them for Audi, VW, Skoda, BMW Mercedes etc. This is referred to as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts.

The fluids we use are from the Castrol Professional range.

Auto Electrical

We have a qualified Auto Electrician on staff who loves nothing more than to resolve any difficult electrical challenges that you may have.

Whenever we are undertaking diagnostic work we print the diagnostic report and attach it to your invoice so that the process and progress is transparent.
